I’m Warren Buckley, a designer and technician who advocates for how people interact with technology through their devices, screens and interfaces.
Whether that involves completing fun or difficult tasks, at work or play, interacting with a mouse or touchscreen, filling out forms or immersed in the sights and sounds of a video.
With 17 years of experience in Information Architecture and User Experience Design, I have designed digital experiences for many different industries and devices. All different uses and environments, but still focusing on their being logical and easy to use for the people meant to use them.
I moved into UX Design after years of experience as a Mac and tech support specialist, where I helped creative professionals in different roles to troubleshoot problems or set up their workstations so they could focus on getting work done. Seeing firsthand how people used technology, and the frustrations they faced, made me want to help by listening to users and then designing better, more intuitive experiences.
No matter what I have worked on — an iPad app used to present information, or an ATM screen read in any kind of lighting — the best results came when thinking first of the person using the design.
